Sign in, verify and reset your password

How-to6 minFoundation

Sign in with your work email and password, and Beezr opens your workspace. If your company turned on extra checks, you may also enter a code from your email. This page covers each step, and what to do when one of them stops you.

  1. Open the address of your workspace, the one your administrator gave you.
  2. Type your email under Work email.
  3. Type your password under Password. The eye icon shows what you typed.
  4. Click Sign in.
The Beezr sign-in page with the Work email and Password fields, the Forgot password? link and the Sign in button.
Use your Work email, the same address your administrator invited.
Forgot password? opens the reset prompt.
Sign in checks your details and opens your workspace.

If the email or password is wrong, you see “Email or password is incorrect, or sign in is unavailable.” Check both and try again. After several tries, Beezr asks you to wait and shows how many minutes.

What if I am asked for a verification code?

Section titled “What if I am asked for a verification code?”

Your company can ask everyone for a second check. Beezr then shows Verify your identity.

  1. Open the email Beezr sent you. The dialog shows your address with part of it hidden.
  2. Type the 6-digit code under Verification code.
  3. Click Verify and continue.
The Verify your identity dialog over the sign-in page, with a field for the 6-digit verification code and the Verify and continue button.
The code has 6 digits. The dialog shows how many attempts you have left.
  • If the code is wrong or too old, Beezr says “That code is invalid or expired” and shows how many attempts remain.
  • Click Resend code for a new one. Use the latest email, because older codes stop working.
  • Click Back to sign in to start again.

What if my account is signed in somewhere else?

Section titled “What if my account is signed in somewhere else?”

Beezr shows Another active session and the question “Continue on this device?”.

  • Continue here signs out the other session. Anything unsaved there may be lost.
  • Keep my other session takes you back to the sign-in page and leaves the other session alone.

If you are the one being signed out, the other device shows “Concurrent Login Detected” and a Force Login button.

The Continue on this device dialog with the buttons Continue here and Keep my other session.
Choose Continue here only when you are sure the other session is yours.

Your company chooses the locations people can sign in from. When your location is not allowed, Beezr shows Location restriction and “Access is restricted here.” with a message from your company. Click Back to sign in, then ask your administrator which locations are allowed.

Some companies sign people in through their own identity provider. If your account must use it, the password step stops with “Your organization requires single sign-on. Please continue with single sign-on.” Ask your administrator for the sign-in link your company uses.

When you come back from your provider, Beezr shows “Preparing your sign-in” and finishes the checks. If the provider’s answer fails, you see Authentication Failed with Try Again and Contact Support.

  1. On the sign-in page, click Forgot password?.
  2. Type your Work email.
  3. Click Send reset link. Beezr answers “Check your inbox”, with a reminder to look in spam.
  4. Open the email and click the link.
  5. Type a new password under New password and again under Confirm password. Beezr recommends at least 8 characters.
  6. Click Set new password. When you see “You’re all set!”, sign in with it.
The Reset your password prompt over the sign-in page, with the Work email field and the Send reset link button.
Type the email you sign in with.
Send reset link sends the instructions.
Back to sign in closes the prompt without sending.

A reset link works for 24 hours. After that you see “Link expired or invalid”, and you request a new link. If you open the page without a link, it says “No reset link found”.
