Before you start

The record page shows everything about one recordRecordOne row of a module.Open glossary ↗: its fields, its buttons, its approvals, and the records linked to it. You open it by clicking a record in a list, or a name in a link.

The page of contract CONTR-00003: title and status, the facts Vendor, Bid and RFx Event, the buttons Publish Draft and Activate Contract, then the tabs and the Basic Information section.
The trail shows where you came from. Click a name to go back.
The status shows as coloured text next to the title.
Edit opens the form. The three dots open more actions.
Key facts sit under the title, with their labels.
Buttons for this record’s actions, such as Publish Draft.
The first tabs are Details, Notes and Attachments. Related records follow.

The header is the top card. It scrolls away with the page, so the details get the full screen.

  • Title. The record’s name, for example “CONTR-00003 · Integrated Facilities Management Services”. An icon or picture may sit before it.
  • Status. If the module has a status, it shows as coloured text next to the title.
  • Key facts. A few fields your administrator chose as the most useful, each with its label above.
  • Action buttons. Buttons for steps that apply to this record, such as Publish Draft or Activate Contract. They are always in view, not tucked into a menu.
  • Edit and the three-dot menu, at the right.

Tabs named after other modulesRecords linked to this one, such as Invoices on a contract. See Add and open related records

Your administrator may add more tabs of their own.

The Details tab groups fields into sections, for example Basic Information and Financial Information, each with a count such as “10 fields”.

  • Hide empty fields hides fields with no value, so you read less. It only changes the view.
  • Next to it, a line shows who created the record and when.
  • Sections jumps to a section.
  • Hover a field to find a copy icon that copies its value.
  • A field that points to another record, such as Vendor, is a link to that record.
  • Beside the details, an Open tasks card lists approvals waiting on this record, with the person and the due date. Click a task to work on it.

When the record is waiting for your decision, an approval bar shows at the top with the task title, who requested it and the priority. The buttons are Approve, Reject, Request Clarification and, when a step came before yours, Send Back. Approve or reject a task covers them.

When approvals have finished on a record, a Record history strip shows below the header. See See what happened to a record.

If the record was deleted, or you may not see it, the page says Record unavailable: “This record may have been deleted, or you may not have access.” Use Back to records or Go home.
