Build

Building in Beezr means describing your business once: what you keep track of, what people fill in, and how they look at it. Each page below covers one part. Pick the part you are working on.
If you build in the usual order, you start with a module and its fields, then the form and views, then a workflow, and the application last. A module needs no application until people should open it in App space.
ApplicationsThe menu people see in App space. Three ways to start, groups, default and inactive apps.ModulesOne kind of record each: contracts, vendors, requests. Create, share, duplicate and delete.FieldsThe pieces of information a record keeps, and which type fits each.RelationsHow modules connect, such as a vendor and its contracts.LookupsReusable lists of choices, such as contract statuses.LabelsThe names people read, in English and Arabic.FormsThe page people fill in to create or edit a record.Data viewsTables, boards, calendars and other ways to browse records.Smart viewsThe designed page for a single record, with header, actions and tabs.DashboardsThe first screen people see, built from metrics and reports.DocumentsWord, Excel and PDF files filled in from a record.InsightsBeezrIQ insights, an add-on that analyses your records.
Not sure where to start?
Section titled “Not sure where to start?”Follow the Quickstart once. It touches most of these parts in one small app. If you already have a spreadsheet, build an app from it and tidy up afterwards.
