Use and switch dashboards
Before you start
Your dashboard is the first page you see: the numbers and lists your administrator picked for your work. Open it any time with Home at the top of the left menu. This page shows how to switch between dashboards and what to do when a card misbehaves.
Switch to another dashboard
Section titled “Switch to another dashboard”If you can see more than one dashboard, its name at the top of the page has a small arrow.
- Click the dashboard name. A list titled Your dashboards opens.
- If the list is long, type in Find a dashboard. The search box appears when there are more than 6.
- Click the dashboard you want, or move with the arrow keys and press Enter.
The page reloads with that dashboard. Press Esc to close the list without switching. With one dashboard, its name is the page title.
Why do the cards appear one at a time?
Section titled “Why do the cards appear one at a time?”Beezr loads each card separately, four at a time, and shows a grey placeholder until its data arrives. Each card displays its result as it arrives. Some cards are reports, some are numbers worked out by a script, and some are information panels your administrator wrote. They all load the same way.
What if a card is slow?
Section titled “What if a card is slow?”A card that takes a while shows This is taking longer than expected. Beezr tries once more on its own after a short pause. If the card is still waiting, click Retry on it. The other cards keep working. If Retry doesn’t bring the numbers, tell your administrator the dashboard and card name.
What if I see no dashboard?
Section titled “What if I see no dashboard?”If your Home page says No dashboards are configured yet!, ask your administrator to build or share a dashboard with you.
What’s the welcome tour?
Section titled “What’s the welcome tour?”The first time you sign in, a Welcome to Beezr window may open. Show me around starts a short tour of the menu, dashboard, top bar, notifications, tasks and reports.
