Store files in your own cloud storage

How-to5 minExpert

Until you configure a file store, Beezr keeps files in its own secure storage. Add your own store when your company wants files in infrastructure it controls.

  1. Open Account settings and choose Data Sources. Under Storage, click Configure. The page is called Custom Storage.
  2. Click Configure File Store, or Add File Store on an empty page.
  3. Under CHOOSE YOUR STORAGE PROVIDER, pick AWS S3, Azure Blob or S3 Compatible.
  4. Type a Display name and the Container / Bucket name.
  5. Fill the provider’s own fields, shown in the table below.
  6. Optionally type a Base path prefix to keep Beezr’s files under one folder of the bucket.
  7. Set Max file size (MB), and tick Allow presigned URLs if you want files served through temporary links.
  8. Click Save.

Beezr shows “File store saved”. The store appears in the list with its provider and usage.

ProviderFields it asks for
AWS S3Region (for example us-east-1), Access key, Secret key
Azure BlobConnection string
S3 CompatibleEndpoint URL (starting https://), Access key, Secret key
The Configure File Store dialog on the AWS S3 form with display name, bucket, region, keys, base path prefix, max file size and the Save button.
Name the store and give the bucket.
The provider fields change with the provider you chose.
Save adds the store. Back returns to the provider cards.
