Find your way around
Before you start
Most of your day in App space is three moves: pick the application, pick a module, and get back to where you were. This page shows each one. If you have not seen the screen frame yet, read A tour of App space first.
Switch to another app
Section titled “Switch to another app”- Click the application button at the top left. It shows the name of your current app.
- In the Beezr Applications list, click the app you want. The current one has a tick.
The menu on the left changes to that app’s modules. Your administrator decides which apps you see. If you have only one, the list has one row.
On a phone, open the drawer and use the application launcher there.
Open a module
Section titled “Open a module”Click a group name in the menu to unfold it, then click the module. Its list opens, and the breadcrumbs show the path, for example Contracting / Contracts.
The arrow button at the top folds the whole menu to a narrow strip.
Add a record without opening the list first
Section titled “Add a record without opening the list first”Click the plus sign at the end of a module’s row. The form for a new record opens. You see the plus only for modules where you may create records. The steps for filling in the form are in Add a record.
Go back to where you were
Section titled “Go back to where you were”On a record page, the trail above the title shows the records you came through, then the module’s list, then the current record. For example, Vendors › Nile Crest FM › Contracts › CONTR-00003. Click any name to jump back to it. When the trail gets long, Beezr hides the middle names behind a Show hidden records link.
Two more ways back:
- The three-dot menu on a record has Back to records, which opens the module’s list.
- When you opened the record from another record, the same menu has Back to parent.
Your browser’s back button also works.
Find a dashboard
Section titled “Find a dashboard”Home opens your dashboards. If you have more than one, Your dashboards lists them. Type in Find a dashboard to narrow the list. If nothing matches, Beezr says “No dashboard matches”.
Where is my profile and language?
Section titled “Where is my profile and language?”Click the avatar at the top right, then your name. The profile page lets you change your email, your password and your language. Change your language, password or email explains it.
Where is the module I need?
Section titled “Where is the module I need?”The menu lists what you may open in the current application. If you do not see a module, check these:
- It belongs to another application. Use the application button.
- Your role has no access to it. Ask your administrator.
- Your administrator has not added it to the application.
