Set the default app, deactivate or delete an app
Before you start
Use these three actions to control which applications people see and which one opens first. All of them are on My applications, in the menu button (the three dots) on each application’s card.
Make an application the default
Section titled “Make an application the default”- Open My applications.
- On the card of the application, open the menu button and click Make default.
Beezr shows “{name} is now the default app” with Undo for a few seconds. The Default tag moves to this card, and the previous default loses it. People see this app first the next time they sign in.
Activate the app first, then make it the default.
Deactivate or reactivate an application
Section titled “Deactivate or reactivate an application”- Open the menu button on the card.
- Click Deactivate. To switch it back on, click Activate.
Beezr shows “{name} deactivated”, with Undo. An inactive app keeps its modules and menu. It stays in the Designer, its card is greyed, and its Open button is off, so nobody can open it in App space.
You can also switch Active in the App builder.
The default app is always active. To deactivate it, make another app the default first, then deactivate this one.
Delete an application
Section titled “Delete an application”- Open the menu button on the card.
- Click Delete. A dialog asks Delete
{name}? - Read the note, then click Delete app.
The dialog lists the app and menu being removed. It shows how many modules the app used. Those modules and records stay available to other apps.
Beezr shows “{name} deleted”.
To delete the default app, make another app the default first, then delete this one.
What did I get?
Section titled “What did I get?”The filters at the top of the page help you check. Active and Inactive show a count each. To find one application quickly, type its name or its App ID in the search box. Press / to jump to it.
