Print barcode sheets and labels
Before you start
Print labels when stock, assets or equipment need a sticker with a scannable code. You select the records, choose what goes on each label, and download a PDF that fits an A4 sheet of 24 labels.
Print a sheet of labels
Section titled “Print a sheet of labels”- Open the module’s list, for example Products. Use the Tabular, Cards or List view, because those show selection boxes.
- Tick the box on each record that needs a label.
- In the bar that shows how many are selected, click Generate Barcode.
- In Label Sheet Configuration, set the fields below.
- Click Submit. Your browser downloads a PDF.
You can also open the same panel from More in the list’s top bar. Tick your records first, then open it.
What do the settings mean?
Section titled “What do the settings mean?”| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Target Barcode Field | The field whose value becomes the barcode |
| Line One | A field printed as text under the code, for example the product name |
| Line Two | A second line of text, for example the price or location |
| Number of Copies | How many labels to print for each selected record, starting at 1 |
| Paper Size | Choose A4 Sheet |
| Sheet Size | Choose 24 X 3 once A4 Sheet is picked |
If the module has a barcode field, Beezr fills in Target Barcode Field, A4 Sheet and 24 X 3 for you. You only choose the text lines and the copies.
Where is the Generate Barcode command?
Section titled “Where is the Generate Barcode command?”It is on modules your administrator set up for barcode sheets. If your module should have it, ask your administrator. Your workspace may show it under another name, since its wording comes from the workspace’s labels.
What does the sheet hold?
Section titled “What does the sheet hold?”Only the records you ticked. Tick the records, click Submit, and the PDF downloads. Select first, because Beezr builds each sheet from your selection.
