Show a contract’s status progress or time until expiry using fields it already has. Insight field opens the wizard for Progress, Age, Due or Compare and creates a Smart field behind the visual.

Use record displays to show the computed result from the record’s existing values.

Can be selected for configured data view columns. Configure its display in the data view settings.

In Smart Script

getCurrentValue() has a String return type for every field type; an unset value can be null. Read the string value before using it in an expression.

Import and export

The output is calculated by a script. Import the source fields rather than relying on an imported computed value.

    Name the field

    Section titled “Name the field”

    Start the field name with an English letter. Use letters, digits, spaces and underscores.
