Track value changes in record history

Before you start

Track value changes on a status field when you want to know how a record moved: from Requested to Approved, and who moved it. Beezr keeps each change from then on.

Switch on tracking

Section titled “Switch on tracking”
  1. On the Fields page, click the row of the Lookup field, for example Status.
  2. Under Values come from, switch on Track value changes.
  3. Click Save field.

    Save field keeps the setting.

What does Beezr record?

Section titled “What does Beezr record?”

For each change of the field’s value, Beezr keeps:

  • the old value and the new value
  • the person who made the change
  • the time of the change

A new record counts as a change from empty to its first value. Updates made in bulk are recorded in the same way.
