Field types

Choose a field by the information you need to capture. The menu has 21 types; Insight is a configured Smart field variant.

Type	Use it for
Text	A single line of text.
Text Area	Several lines of plain text.
Integer	A whole number.
Long	A whole-number field for larger integer values.
Decimal	A number with configurable decimal places.
Boolean	A yes or no value.
Date	A calendar date without a time.
Date time	A calendar date with a time.
Relation	A link to a record in another module.
Lookup	One value selected from a reusable lookup list.
Multi Select Lookup	Several values selected from a reusable lookup list.
Link	A web address stored on a record.
Smart field	A value computed by a Smart Script when the record is shown.
Signature	A signature drawn on the form.
Rating	A star rating selected on a form.
Barcode	A text value displayed in a selected barcode format.
Currency	An amount displayed with a configured currency code.
Content	One uploaded file or image.
Mutli Content	Several uploaded files attached to one field.
Rich Text	Formatted text written in an editor.
User	A Beezr user selected for a record.
Insight	A visual Smart field configured with the Insight field wizard.
