Export records
Before you start
Export when you need a module’s records in a spreadsheet, for a meeting or for someone outside Beezr. Beezr builds the file and emails it to you, so keep your inbox in view.
Export a list
Section titled “Export a list”- Open the module’s list, for example Invoices.
- Set the filters you want. The file follows them. With no filter, it holds every record.
- Click Export. The Export report window opens.
- Under Columns, choose All fields or Tabular view.
- Check the Send to address. Type another one if the file should go to someone else.
- Click Export report.
A window then says Your report is on the way and that Beezr is preparing it and will share it over your logged-in email shortly. Click through it and carry on working. The file arrives by email.
Which columns should I pick?
Section titled “Which columns should I pick?”| Choice | You get | Use it when |
|---|---|---|
| All fields | Every field of the module | You want the complete record, for example to keep a copy or to clean data |
| Tabular view | Only the columns the list shows now | You want what you see, in the order you see it |
Your administrator sets which columns the table shows. Tabular view follows that setting.
How is this different from a report export?
Section titled “How is this different from a report export?”A list export is emailed and covers records. A report’s Export menu saves a file to your browser and covers the numbers on that report. See Change a report’s dates and export it.
Where do I look for the email?
Section titled “Where do I look for the email?”Check the address in Send to first, then your spam folder. Beezr sends to exactly the address in the box. If the file still hasn’t come, ask your administrator.
