Ask for help from inside the app

How-to3 minFoundation

Before you start

Send a support ticket when you want Beezr’s team to look at something: an error message, an odd result, or a feature you expected to find. You do it from inside Beezr, so there’s no support email to look up. It takes about 3 minutes.

Many questions are about how your own app was built: which fields a form has, who can approve what, why a list has certain columns. Your administrator decides those, so ask them first. Use a ticket for something that looks broken, or that needs support from Beezr.

  1. Click the question-mark icon in the top bar. On a phone, tap the three-line button, then Support.
  2. Check Application name. Beezr fills it in from the application you have open.
  3. Under Module, choose the module where it happened, for example Invoices. Type to search the list.
  4. In the large box, describe the issue.
  5. Add a file if it helps, such as a screenshot. Click the upload button and choose it.
  6. Click the submit button.
The support ticket window with a filled-in Application name, a Module menu, a large box to describe the issue, an Attachments upload button, and Cancel and submit buttons.

A window titled Ticket submitted then confirms it. Beezr records your name and email with it, so the team can reach you.

Give the team what they need to see it too. Say:

    • what you were doing, for example “approving invoice INV-2026-0008”
    • what you expected, and what happened instead
    • any message that appeared, word for word
    • when it happened

A screenshot with the message in view answers three of these at once.

The window closes and nothing is sent.

The first time you sign in, a Welcome to Beezr window may offer Show me around. It’s a short tour of the menu, dashboard, top bar, tasks and reports. It isn’t a replacement for support, but it answers “where is everything?”

    Check yourself

In the ticket window, the Application name is already filled in. Where does it come from?
    Show the answer

The application you are working in. The ticket uses the application you have open, so Beezr fills it in. You choose the module yourself.

Layla wants to know how to add a column to her own list view. Who should she ask first?
    Show the answer

Her administrator, because it depends on how the app was built. Lists and columns are set up by your administrator. A ticket is best for something broken or a question that isn't about your own setup.
