Before you start
An Integration step runs one action of an app you connected in the Integration hub. Use it to create a record in a connected app when a request is approved.
When should I use Integration?
Section titled “When should I use Integration?”Use it when your workspace has the app as a connection. The connection holds the sign-in, so you only choose what to do. For an address that is not in the hub, use REST API. The step appears in the picker only if your workspace has the Integration hub add-on.
Add an Integration step
Section titled “Add an Integration step”- Click + and choose Integration. It sits in the Connect group.
- Under App, choose a connection. If there are none, click Open the Integration Hub and add one.
- Under What should it do?, choose an action. Actions are grouped as Read and Write.
- Under Details, fill in the required values. Use Insert data for fields.
- Under What you get back, type a name in Name it.
What do the settings do?
Section titled “What do the settings do?”| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| App | The connection. Changing the app clears the action |
| What should it do? | One action of that app. Changing it keeps values with the same name |
| Details | The action’s values. Required ones first, then optional ones under more options |
| What you get back | The fields the action returns, and the Name it for the result |
| Advanced | the request: what Beezr sends to the app |
A detail marked as coming from the connection has nothing to fill in.
What should I watch for?
Section titled “What should I watch for?”- The run log shows the status and the app’s own message for each call.
- Every detail is filled in for each run: inserted data is replaced by its value at that moment.
- In a loop, the app is called once per round.
- Boolean details are saved as true or false. Number details become numbers. For file details, choose a file field.
