Send email from your own domain

Mail setup decides who workflow emails come from. Add your mail server, add a sender such as support@yourcompany.com, and send a test. Every workflow in the workspace can then use that sender.
The counters show how many senders work, how many need attention and how many mail servers you have.
Senders are the addresses workflows send from. Beezr Notifications is built in and needs no setup.
Mail servers is where Beezr connects to send. One server can serve many senders.
Add a mail server
Section titled “Add a mail server”- Open Account settings and choose Mail Setup.
- Under Mail servers, click Add server.
- Pick your provider: Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Amazon SES, SendGrid or Other for any SMTP server. The preset fills in the host, port and encryption.
- Type a Server name that you will recognise, such as
Microsoft 365. - Check the Host and Port. Pick the Encryption: STARTTLS (usually port 587), SSL/TLS (usually port 465) or None (a relay inside your network, usually port 25).
- Click Add server.

Each provider needs one thing set on its side:

| Google Workspace | An app password, created at myaccount.google.com › Security › App passwords |

| SendGrid | The username apikey and your SendGrid API key as the password. The sender must be a verified sender. |
Check that it works
Section titled “Check that it works”In the sender’s Check it works section:
- Check reaches the server, secures the connection and signs in. Nothing is sent.
- Send test also delivers a message. Type the address under Send the test to first.
A sender’s tag then reads Working, or says what went wrong, for example Sign-in failed or Encryption mismatch. Check all tests every sender at once.
Use the sender in a workflow
Section titled “Use the sender in a workflow”Open an email step and pick the sender in its From field. Beezr Notifications is always on the list.
