Change a report's dates and export it
Before you start
Open a report, then ask it a narrower question: only this month, only one vendor. Your changes affect what you see and export. They don’t change the saved report, so nobody else is affected.
Change the date range
Section titled “Change the date range”- Open a report from Reports.
- Above the chart, choose All time, This month or Last 30 days.
- Or click Custom. Pick a Field, then a From date, a To date, or both, and click Apply.
Leave From or To empty for an open-ended range. If the start is after the end, Beezr says The start date is after the end date. The line under the title says when the report last ran, for example Ran now.
Add a filter
Section titled “Add a filter”Click Filter, choose a field, then set a value. The window you get depends on the field:
| Field kind | You choose |
|---|---|
| A list, such as status | One or more values, with a search box |
| Text | Contains, Is or Is not, and a value |
| A number | Is, Is not, At least, At most or Between |
| A date | From and To |
Each filter becomes a chip. Click a chip to change it, or its x to remove it. Clear all removes everything at once.
Export the report
Section titled “Export the report”Click Export and choose a format.
| Format | When it’s offered | You get |
|---|---|---|
| Chart image (.png) | Chart reports | The chart as shown, as an image |
| CSV (.csv) | Every report | The report’s grouped data, with your filters and sort |
| Excel (.xlsx) | Custom tables | A spreadsheet of the table |
Reports download straight to your browser. A list export from a module’s records is different: it arrives by email. See Export records.
The CSV holds the grouped data the chart shows, one row per bar or slice. For the individual records, export the module’s list instead.
How do I share what I’m looking at?
Section titled “How do I share what I’m looking at?”Beezr writes your dates and filters into the page address. Copy the address from your browser and send it to a colleague who can open the report. They see the same view.
