Open it from Modules by choosing a module card, or from the Fields tab in the top bar once a module is picked.

The Fields page for the Contracts module: a toolbar above a table that lists each field with its system name, type, key, position, default and header settings.
Search fields matches labels and system names. All types narrows the table to one group, such as Dates or Choice.
Relation and Insight field open their own tools. They are not field types you pick in the editor.
Add field opens the editor on the right for a new field.
The System name is the name Beezr stores. The Field column shows the label people read.
The key icon marks the key field.
In header marks fields that show in the record header, next to the title.
ColumnWhat it shows
FieldThe label, as people see it on forms and records
System nameThe stored name, in lowercase with underscores
TypeThe kind of value the field accepts
KeyA key icon on the module’s key field
PositionThe order in the record’s details section. Lower numbers appear first
DefaultA tick when the field has a default value
In headerA tick when the field shows in the record header

Click a row to edit it. Click a column title to sort. The count next to the page title and under the table follows your search and filter.

Clicking Add field or a row opens the editor as a panel on the right. Its title shows the field’s label, or New field when you are adding one.

The field editor open on a Lookup field called Status, showing the label, the type, the lookup it takes values from, record page options, storage options and the Save field button.
The Label is typed once, when you add the field. Use Labels to edit the words people see.
Type opens a grid of types, grouped and searchable.
A Lookup field asks which list its Values come from. New creates a list without leaving the editor.
On the record page controls the details section, the record header and the Position.
Storage holds Virtual field and Encrypt values.
Save field saves and closes the panel. The corner shows Unsaved changes while you edit.

Below Storage there is a Default value section. + Add a default value applies a value when someone creates a record. The value can be plain text or a Smart Script.

Some settings appear only for some types. Decimal asks for decimal places. Currency asks for a code such as USD. Text area has a slider for Max characters, set to the length you need. Barcode asks for a format. A Smart field shows a script editor.

If you close the panel with unsaved changes, Beezr asks Discard unsaved changes? first.

Click the bin icon at the end of the row. Beezr lists what the delete removes:

  • the column and its stored values, in every record of the module
  • its place on forms and data views
  • automations, documents and reports that reference it

Deleting is permanent. You then type the field’s system name, and the Delete field button turns on.

  • Choose the label and system name when you create the field. To show different words to people, edit Labels.
  • Names start with an English letter and use English letters, numbers, spaces and underscores.
  • The key field is made with the module. Keep it as it is: edit its settings, and leave its type. A new module’s Fields page lists it as the only row.
  • Pick a relation from the Relation button in the toolbar. To change a relation field into another type, delete it and create it again.
  • Encrypt values needs an active encryption key. Switch it on when you create the field.
  • Virtual field means the value is worked out when shown and not stored.
  • After creating a field, add it to the form and the data views.
