Module Management

“Modules” are considered the building block of applications in Beezr, they are your database tables. A Module represents a business entity, this can be for example an employee, a customer, or a sales transaction.

To get started, go to the “Module Manager” item on the navigation side menu to open the Module builder panel.

To create a new Module; click on the “Add Module” button on the top right corner of the page.

Field Name Description
Module Name A descriptive name for the Module being built.
Description A short description of the business behind this Module.
Module Icon Add an image icon to the Module, this is the icon that is going to be shown in the navigational menu of the Beezr App to the business user. If no icon is uploaded a default icon is used by the platform.
Shared Data By default, business users can only view the records created by them or by their subordinates in the Org Chart. However, sometimes there are business records that can be shared between all the users regardless of the creator. This flag enables such business objects.
For example, previously we’ve mentioned that we created an “employees” Module and in the permission, we’ve added a filter clause to only view certain records.
Enable Barcode Sheet This enables the feature to generate a barcode sheet based on an SKU field. This will show a new feature in the app space of the module.
Has Line Items This determines if this module has a one-to-many relationship with another module. Checking this field prompts you to select which is the related module.

Barcode Management
When you enable the barcode sheet feature in the module, you'll see a new button in the App space for that module:

This feature allows you to generate a pdf print-out barcode sheet for a barcode printer. Here are the steps for this feature:
  1. You need to have a field in this module with the type "Barcode".
  2. Select the items you want to include in the printing process.
  3. Click on "Generate Barcode"
  1. Fill out the details of the barcode sheet you need.
  2. The number of copies specifies how many copies of each barcode item do you need.
  3. Click "Submit"
  4. Beezr will generate and download a pdf file that looks like this:
