Build the perfect dashboards for your business

Business applications without dashboards that give users insightful information are pretty meaningless! Also, Having generic dashboards that don't show you what you need is just noise.

With Beezr Dashboard Builder, you can build a dashboard that gives you exactly what you and your team members need, whatever the complexity.

Here is an example of just one of the dashboards you can build!

To start, go to "Dashboard Manager" in the Designer space and choose the application you want to work on.

Each application can have multiple dashboards. This comes in handy when you want different roles to see different dashboards.

To add a new dashboard, click on "New Page."

Field Name Description
Page Name A descriptive name for the dashboard
Target App This will be auto-selected based on your previous selection.
Show for these soles Choose the roles you want this dashboard to be visible for.
Active You can activate or deactivate a dashboard from this field.

To start designing, click on the "Open page designer" link on the right side of the created dashboard:

This will open the page designer, and you can start building it:

You first drag and drop a "Section" component to the design pane on the right. Then start adding other components inside it. An important thing to know is that, as of this version, you cannot add sections inside sections.

These are the components available to build your dashboard:

Dashboard Components
Component Name Description
Section This is the first block you will drop in the design pane. This acts as a holder for the rest of the components. You can configure the number of columns you want the grid to hold.
You can add multiple sections to maintain your dashboard design better.
Info Panel This is a panel block that you can use to show important figures to the business.
Report Build a report using Beezr report builder (from the app space) and include it in the dashboard.
Custom Build your component using HTML and dynamic placeholders. Our custom design wizard allows you to auto-detect placeholders and add computing functions.

After adding your components, click on the gear icon at the top of the component to start configuring it.

1. Section

The most important field to configure is the number of columns, which will define how the components inside the section will be arranged.

The rest of the configuration gives you the design freedom of the section.

2. Info Panel

Info panels are insight values you can show to your users. This can be a count, sum, average, or any other value you want to show your user.

Field Name Field Type Description
Title Text Text The title name of the panel
Value Smart Script Use Beezl to add a computed value here.

The rest of the configuration is focused on the design attributes of the info panel.

3. Report

You can include reports you've built using Beezr's business reporting tool into the dashboard.

Configuring the report component is very straightforward, as you must choose the report you want to view.

4. Custom

The custom component allows you to write custom HTML with dynamic content to build your widget. Our wizard guides you through the three-step process:

Step-1:

Use the CK-Editor widget to edit and design your HTML widget. Add dynamic placeholders in the places you need them and click next.

${placeholder_name}

Step-2:

Add your CSS scripts and links here.

Step-3:

In the final step, the wizard will automatically detect your dynamic placeholders and list them here. You can add your Beezl scripts to compute the values dynamically.
